My child,
I have loved you with an awesome
and a mighty love.
Before the foundations of the earth
were laid,
rose in the dawning of time,
I knew you.
My little child,
you are the most precious of my
possessions.
I love you beyond the height or depth
of your understanding.
My joy and my delight are in you,
and the wonder in your eyes
echoes the ceaseless, ever-renewing
surge of my creativity.
You were made for the Heavens;
to walk unshackled through eternity
and to walk by my side.
Come to me, your Creator,
your sustainer,
your Father.
Step into my kingdom.
Enter now the place I have prepared for you.
Embark upon that royal road
that begins in this life,
and continues beyond eternity!
My little one,
as I have loved you in this shadowed world,
as I have delighted in your presence,
laughed and wept with you,
so will I love you in that place
where shadows are swallowed up in joy!
And there I will gently draw the mist from your eyes,
the veil from your understanding,
and you will grasp in reality
what you now hold in faith.
Child,
here you have given me trust and love
and obedience.
There, I will surround you with my presence
and place in your hands
the Morning Star!

Beautiful sincerity. Thank you for sharing
Praise God….
Donna – a resounding and delightful “AMEN!”
Oh, what a lovely poem of God’s love for us. Love the last three lines.
Thanks for the reminder and beautiful words. Stay blessed!
Calling this merely beautiful seems so trite, but my goodness, this is beautiful. It reads like a psalm.
Thank you both. God’s love is so amazing and we misunderstand it so easily. We seek to be good enough for it as though it were a prize to be earned rather than a gift to be accepted.
God always upon us.
Your perception of our divine father is surreal, touching every glimpse of our felt faith which we enshrine to his presence.
Thank you, Harish, Miles may separate poets but words bridge all distances.
passionate and beautiful.

While I am not of the same religious beliefs, I do think it is a beautiful poem of your faith
Very nice piece, the composition is lovely as is the message. ~ Rose
